We know for fact that before Jon purchased the house; the kitchen was remodeled, the tile floor was done (entry, kitchen, laundry and small bath), the windows were replaced, the tile fireplace surround was built, the small bathroom was remodeled, and the carpets were installed. The roof had also recently been added. The old listing said that the electricity (and maybe plumbing) was updated but we have found some older electricity so the entire house was not redone.

We suspect that the walls were either changed from panelling to drywall .. if they weren't previously panelling then there was some texturing and painting done. The decks were probably added as well as the french doors. They had also put in newer light fixtures.

Since we have moved in we have made the following updates; completely remodeled the larger bathroom (changing it from bathtub [no shower] to walk-in double shower) as well as replacing everything else, remodeled the small bathroom (changed single plastic shower stall to tiled tub/shower combo) and replacing all else except medicine cabinet.

We painted all rooms in the past three years and replaced or refurbished all light fixtures (with the exception of the kitchen and pantry). We painted the exterior of the house, refinished the decks, added a cabinet in the laundry room, changed the previously propane fake-log fireplace to a wood-burning insert, and replaced all the hardware (interior and exterior doors) as well as replaced the water heater earlier this year.
